Pianists Coady Green and Ian Munro unite for an electrifying opening night of virtuosic grandeur and dramatic power.
This thrilling program features Carl Czerny’s rarely heard arrangements of Beethoven’s Overture to The Creatures of Prometheus and the heroic Egmont, scored for two pianos and narrator, with the incomparable actor Paul English.
The evening also includes dazzling two-piano masterpieces by Liszt and Saint-Saëns, rounding out a program of theatrical flair, pianistic brilliance, and revolutionary spirit.
