The fourth instalment in the Mystical Mozart series, presented by two of the country's most prolific and adventurous musicians. Violinist Rachael Beesley and pianist Coady Green are each recognised in their own right both in Australia and overseas for their virtuosity and skill.
This concert concludes the series, which has featured the entirety of Mozart's violin and piano sonatas and some of the variations for violin and piano. Beesley and Green bring a fresh and innovative interpretation of the Classics by encouraging individual artistry and artistic agency and bringing a boldness of spirit to the process of exploring the notes left to us by Mozart.
This final program features Mozart's late Viennese sonatas, composed between the years 1784 and 1787.
